This year is going to look very different.
Thanks to a seriously low snow year, we’re not able to build the full summit course like years past. But… in true Rocker fashion, we’re making it happen anyway.
What’s Going Down
- We’re building a hip feature at the bottom of the usual course
- No race. No categories. No entry fees. No sign-ups.
- Just a freestyle session for experienced riders.
Main session: 1:00–6:00pm
All are welcome to ride (with waiver) or come watch
Afterparty at Donner Ski Ranch: 6:00pm

If you’ve ever wanted to earn your turns… this is it.
What You Need to Know THIS Year
This is not your typical Rally:
- Terrain access is rough (expect hiking + scrambling over rocks)
- You will not be able to ride top to bottom
- The feature is not beginner-friendly
- There are rocks everywhere
- Helmets strongly encouraged
- If you’re not a confident rider → come hang, don’t send
This year is raw. A little sketchy. Definitely not polished. But it’s still Rally for Rocker. Come for the community. Stay smart. Know your limits.
Logistics
- Park at Donner Ski Ranch overflow lot
- Do NOT park on Sugar Bowl Rd
- NO DOGS!
- Carpool. Carpool. Carpool.
- Pack light. Whatever you bring up, you’re carrying back down.
- There is a steep rock section that you will have to scramble up and back down, know your limits (and your kid’s limits.)
